2005 Italian Festival in Canton, Ohio

The Fourth Annual Italian Festival was held in Canton, Ohio on Sunday, July 10, 2005. We left Pittsburgh before 9:00 on a beautiful summer morning in our Biturbo Spyder. We followed our friend and fellow Italian-car enthusiast, Walt Spak, in his beautiful and great-running 1955 Lancia B20GT. Canton is a two-hour drive from Pittsburgh and we took the scenic back roads in Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. Walt has driven these roads before and they are great back roads for sports cars.

The Italian Car Festival was held in conjunction with the 19th Annual Italian-American Festival that included Italian food, music, dancing, and a bocce tournament. It was nice seeing Italian-car friends that we met last year and meeting new friends. We look forward to next year’s event.
