AIR FILTER (SNAKE FILTER)
Air filter element as fitted to many early Maserati models. It is known as the "Snake" filter for obvious reasons. It fits inside a fiberglass housing typically mounted in the right front wheel well area just ahead of the tire. Replacing this filter generally requires that the right front wheel be removed. This filter is correct for some later 3500GT models, and also fits 3500GTI, Sebring, Mistral, and early Quattroporte I.
