- FEATURE: Maserati -- Sports Racing Cars from 1947 to 1965. Over twenty pages devoted to some of the most technically advanced Maserati sports racing cars, in a wonderful, pictorial overview format. It includes coverage of Tipo A6G, Series 1, 2, and 3, the Tipo 150S, the Tipo 200S/200SI, the Tipo 300S, the Tipo 350S, as well as the Tipo 450S, 450s Coupe, 450S Costin/Zagato, 60/61, 61, 63, 151/1, 151/3, and the Tipo 65.
- FEATURE: A two page book review written by Denise McCluggage, the honored American race car driver, of American Racing -- Road Racing in the 50s and 60s, by Tom Burnside. The review includes a wonderful excerpt from the book, a statement from the author, photos by Tom Burnside, as well as comments by Janet Mandarano.
- FEATURE: A two page book review written by Janet Mandarano of Miniature Maserati, "A model history of Maserati Cars" by Walter Gualdrini, and published by Editori. Gualdrini has put together a comprehensive miniature Maserati collection, as well as an impressive array of memorabilia, in his book that is nothing short of incredible. The review also includes a statement from the author, where in he answers the question, "Who are you, a Ferrari or a Maserati fan?!"
- FEATURE: Maserati Days and Concours Italiano '97. Overview of the coming year's event. Photographs by Matt Stone. Two pages devoted to the full day's projected program at the 19th Annual Gathering of the Faithful on the Monterey Peninsula in Northern California. Includes the schedule, the trophies, the cast party, accomodations, the registration fee, and much more.

- "Maseratis To Stay Home" notes that a collection of 17 historically important Maseratis formally owned by the factory will not be broken up and auctioned.

- "Nuccio Bertone: Born July 4, 1914, died February 26, 1997" honors one of the world's great mentors and doyen of Italian design.
- RETROSPECT: Looks at the Factory's 60th Anniversary. This two-page retrospect, pulled from VCM No. 49 from 1986, takes a nostalgic look at the gala event. Packed with photos.
- REGIONAL NEWS: John Asmus, Regional Director, writes about the Holiday Party that occurred on January 4th, the tentative plans for a drive and picnic near Occidental, as well as encouraging members to bring their Maseratis to the Palo Alto Concours' 30th Anniversary celebration in June. Packed with great pictures.
- INTERNATIONAL NEWS: The Perrelet Maserati Classic International in Mandelieu-La Napoule in Monte Carlo is featured. Also: Club Maserati's Rally in October, 1996, Registro Maserati's European Summer Meeting at the Castle of Casiglio in June, 1996, and the 3rd Maserati Days organized by the Maserati Club of Japan held in November, 1996, are highlighted. Mr. Jack Levy, a long-time owner and active participant in The Maserati Club UK passed away. A full-page is included in his honor.
- NEWS & PEOPLE: Alfredo Emanuele, his daughter Francesca, Mr. Marco Deg'Innocenti, William Sanders, Andre Robinson, The Kem Clan (Ed, Bob, and Tom), Low Kai Chin, as well as Tom Jones are featured, as well as snippets of news, photos and anecdotes.
